About Our Staff...
Marie Mapa - Licensed Esthetician, Master Stylist
Marie has been in the beauty industry all her life. As a young girl
growing up, most of her childhood was spent in a very busy Hair
Salon in San Francisco almost everyday after school until business
close of day. This is where she grew her beauty business roots from.
It wasn't until she reached age 16 when her mother realized she was
a natural and put her to work. Marie assisted in producing designs
in hair updos and makeup design for brides, newscasters, photo
shoots and more. She began to freelance in hair and makeup for a few
years until she decided to pursue a license in Esthetics and
received her license in 2005. Marie has since produced a skincare
clinic in San Francisco, Rodeo and currently in Hercules. She is
well-versed in many eyelash extensions technologies and products.
She is currently the Master Stylist at Bliss Esthetics with notable
work has been found and featured in national magazines such as The
Knot, Grace Ormonde and the Marketplace Magazine.
Gail Marlow - CMT, Esthetician
Gail has a life-long appreciation of natural healing, health studies
and beauty. She was educated at Heartwood Institute and Paris Beauty
College. She specializes in Swedish massage, body skin care
treatments and eyelash extensions. Gail brings to her practice her
continued studies in health, wellness and esthetics. Through travel,
reading and learning, Gail has learned to blend trusted tradition
with modern innovation to create unique treatments that benefit,
relax and beautify her clients. She uses the highest quality
products she has found at trade shows and through personal
experience. Gail uses many products that are organic and paraben-free.
Gail believes in providing a quality experience for her clients.
Mayo Starbuck-Benter - CMT, Esthetician
Mayo offers a variety of beauty and relaxation services on her menu
to suit your skin and body needs. Mayo invites you to explore our

Educator
Romel is a friendly, competent and dedicated individual who has a
passion for education and makeup. Romel is well-versed in applying
makeup on all skin types, ethnicities and settings and loves to
welcome challenges! Creating the right look for that special event
allows Romel to be versatile in special occasion makeup. She is
experienced in wedding, anniversary, birthday, prom and stage
makeup. She customizes each look with the extensive makeup lines she
carries with products from MAC, NARS, Too Faced, Makeup Forever,
Urban Decay and Bare Minerals. She loves making women feel beautiful
and confident!
